Highways Agency /Area 9 Assessments – M6 Hough Viaduct – £135K

AmeyMouchel was commissioned by the Highways Agency to undertake structural assessments on a group of structures including: (Hough Viaduct, Carrant Brook Culvert and Brookhouse Culvert). Vanguard World was responsible for carrying out the assessment of the Hough Viaduct which was 32 span bridge to determine the capacity of the structure and determine HA, HB and/or SV rating of the structure according to the requirements of BD21, 37 and 86. Vanguard World also provided day to day running of the project and managing a team of engineers as well as providing client liaison to make sure the assessment work was completed on time and budget.
